NY Series Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) Needle Valves feature a cold-drawn square bar body, supporting pressures up to 6,000 psig (414 bar). The non-rotating lower stem moves linearly up and down instead of rotating, minimizing packing abrasion and reducing friction between the seat and tip. Hardened stem threads prevent galling and are fully isolated from system media. The externally adjustable gland operates independently of the spindle thread. Bottom mounting is available, along with various connection types and sizes. The handle is securely fastened with double lock-pins.
