Block and Bleed Valves

Isolate and safely vent piping media

Block and bleed valves consist of “isolate” and “vent” valves, isolating and venting downstream pressure when replacing pressure gauges. They are typically used in instrumentation piping to save space. Compared to traditional multi-valve combinations, block and bleed valves reduce weight, space, and cost. FITOK offers block and bleed valves in various configurations, including integral/split type flange block and bleed valves, wafer type flange block and bleed valves, butt-welded type block and bleed valves, and injection/sampling type block and bleed valves. Each valve is leak tested in accordance with API 598. Optional features include fire-safe designs to API-607, anti-static designs to EN 12266-2, and NACE MR0175 compliance.

  • Single Block Valves, SB Series

SB Series Process Interface Single Block Valves consist of one isolation valve with a bleed port. Available types include wafer-style flanged block and bleed valve manifolds and root-weld block and bleed valve manifolds. Each valve is factory-tested per API 598 standards, with NACE MR0175-compliant options available.

  • Single Block and Bleed Valves, BB Series

BB Series Process Interface Single Block and Bleed Valves integrate one isolation valve and one bleed valve, offering fewer leak points, lower weight, and reduced space requirements. Available types include integral flanged block and bleed valve manifolds, wafer-style flanged block and bleed valve manifolds, root-weld block and bleed valve manifolds, and instrument control line block and bleed valve manifolds. Each valve is factory-tested per API 598 standards, with NACE MR0175-compliant options available.

  • Double Block Valves, DB Series

DB Series Process Interface Double Block Valves feature two isolating needle valves in a single structure, facilitating seamless transitions from process to instrumentation. These manifolds minimize leak points, installation weight, and space requirements compared to traditional configurations. Available types include wafer-style flanged block and bleed valve manifolds, with flanged or threaded ports. Each valve is factory-tested per API 598 standards, with NACE MR0175-compliant options available.

  • Double Block and Bleed Valves, DBB Series

DBB Series Process Interface Double Block and Bleed Valves integrate two isolation valves and one bleed valve, reducing potential leak points, installation weight, and space requirements compared to traditional multi-valve setups. Available types include integral/flanged block and bleed valve manifolds, wafer-style flanged block and bleed valve manifolds, injection/sampling block and bleed valve manifolds, and instrument control line block and bleed valve manifolds. Options include ball or needle valves and flanged or threaded ports. Each valve is factory-tested per API 598 standards, with fire-safe (API 607), anti-static (EN 12266-2), and NACE MR0175-compliant options available.

  • Medium-Pressure Block and Bleed Needle Valves, 15BN and 20BN Series

15BN and 20BN Series Medium Pressure Block and Bleed Needle Valves offer a compact design that outperforms multi-component valve and fitting configurations. By reducing the number of components, these valves minimize space requirements, costs, and leakage potential. The non-rotating stem and bar stock body design, along with metal-to-metal seating, ensure ideal shutoff, extended stem/seat service life for abrasive flow, excellent corrosion resistance, and durability through repeated on/off cycles. The high-tensile 316 stainless steel body supports working pressures up to 20,000 psig (1,379 bar). A reliable packing gland locking device further reduces leakage risk. Standard PTFE packing is effective from -73°C to 232°C, with an optional RPTFE glass version available.

  • Medium-Pressure Double Block and Bleed Ball Valves, 15DBB Series

15DBB Series Medium Pressure Double Block and Bleed Ball Valves feature a trunnion-style ball design to prevent blowout, ensuring reliable operation and improved control system actuation. The high-tensile 316 stainless steel body and PEEK seat provide excellent chemical, heat, and abrasion resistance, with working pressures up to 15,000 psig (1,034 bar). Fluorocarbon FKM O-rings, suitable for temperatures from -17.8°C to 204°C, maintain consistent sealing performance. A full-port flow path minimizes pressure drop, while quarter-turn operation ensures positive stop from open to closed.

  • Medium-Pressure Double Block and Bleed Needle Valves, 20DBN Series

20DBN Series Medium Pressure Double Block and Bleed Needle Valves provide high performance in a compact design. The non-rotating stem and bar stock body, combined with metal-to-metal seating, ensure ideal shutoff, extended stem/seat service life for abrasive flow, excellent corrosion resistance, and durability for repeated on/off cycles. The high-tensile 316 stainless steel body supports working pressures up to 20,000 psig (1,379 bar). A reliable packing gland locking device minimizes leakage risk. Standard PTFE packing operates from -73°C to 232°C,with an optional RPTFE glass version available.
